Message	Receipts or not, unless you're paying a higher premium for the $20k (example) in parts you have on the car, you'll have to fight tooth and nail to get more than book value. I sadly know from experience, and my 35 pages of receipts and documentation barely bumped me up $2k. Also, what happens if you get hit by someone else? You think their insurance company is simply going to say "Oh your insurance agent said what? Oh OK, we can do that too" My point is you'll pay more for that extra coverage, no matter what you "tell them". "...Downpipes own.
